On 19 August 2020, our esteemed fellow countryman, brilliant scientist, academician Borys Paton died, at 101. OKOndt GROUP has been working in a close partnership with the Institute of the electrical welding for a very long time. And Mr Borys Paton was a director of the Institute for as long as a half of century. In cooperation, we hosted NDT conferences and handled joint projects providing NDT means and technologies to Y.O.Paton Electric Welding Institute. Borys Paton made an immense contribution to both national and foreign science development. His inventions started the era of the electric welding of the soft tissues, as well as under water and in space welding. He’s an indescribable loss for the community and for our company.
